Ground-Breaking Ceremony to Kick Start Express LUCK ZhongShan Technology Park Construction

On November 7, 2020, Express LUCK, one of the Top 10 TV exporters, officially started the Express LUCK Industrial Smart Display Project in Zhongshan Technology Park, Minzhong Town, Zhongshan City. This is one of the largest bases invested by Express LUCK after its four production bases, including Colombia, Egypt, Hungary and Shenzhen. The total investment of this project exceeds one billion RMB, and the land covers more than 13 hectares.

Mr. Sherman Chan, VP General Manager of Express LUCK, said: Express LUCK intends to complete the buildings within two years. Zhongshan Technology Park, as an innovation base, produces Smart LED TVs as well as commercial display and signage. We expect the TV production capacity will be generated from 6 million units to more than 10 million units per year. The annual output value reached 10 billion RMB.

Beginning in 2014, the group carried out strategic expansion through various forms of investment. It has successively established factories and multiple overseas sales centers on four continents. spread across North America, South America, Europe and Africa, providing customers in more than 60 countries with more efficient and flexible services.

Throughout the years, Express LUCK collaborates closely with strategic partners to provide a better and advanced solution to customers. Recently, we are striving to offer those welcomed apps to be embedded in our smart TV products. We endeavour to improve the quality of life and heightened the enjoyment to the end-users. Jeff Koo, the Technical Account Manager of Android TV, came far away from Google Korea to exchange the technical know-how with our R&D Team at the Nanshan R&D Innovation Center of Shenzhen in late-August.

During the discussion, Jeff shared the tricks of enhancing Android TV testing capability and project management with the R&D Team, helping to speed up the progress of embedding the Android P system to smart TV. Express LUCK being one of the few official partners of Google in China, this smoothens the smart TV with Android TV capabilities and reduce the processing time for end-users opening these embedded apps. Besides, Jeff also demonstrated how the Android P TV Reference Plus program better synchronizes with Express LUCK system, inspiring our in-house R&D Engineers to come up with new features and advancing the back-end support for coming product enhancement.

“Having Google as one of our important partners, implying the maturity of our R&D capability. Jeff brought not only the practical functions of Android TV, but also profound insight to broaden our R&D engineers’ mindset. In the future, Express LUCK will cooperate with our strategic partners, striving to bring the best visual and audio enjoyment to customers,” says Sherman.

China TV Manufacturer Export Ranking

The China TV Manufacturer Export in May 2018 was 9.6 million units. It has increased 4% compared with last month and has increased 15% compared with same time last year.

Express LUCK Group exported 490 thousand units of TV in May 2018 and was again being ranked as the Top 4 exporters in China. Export unit in May 2018 has outperformed by 32% compared with April 2018 as well as to the corresponding period last year with the same percentage. The growth has been pulled up by the Middle East sales recovery with 16% increment same time last year.

Sherman Chan was accredited the “New Generation” Achievement Award by FITMI

Hong Kong Federation of Innovative Technologies and Manufacturing Industries (FITMI) held the 8th Hong Kong Innovation Technology Award Ceremony on 11 December 2018 at AsiaWorld- Expo. Mr. Sherman Chan, the Business Development Director of Express LUCK Group (the Group), was granted the “New Generation” Achievement Award. It is to recognize the effort the awardees strive in R&D, innovation and the achievement they attained in corporate development.

FITMI was established in 1997, the Awards were issued since 2011 and now have 4 inclusively. The ceremony is always the signature event and has great support from the industry as usual. This year, FITMI hosted banquets with almost a hundred of tables and the awardees shared their happiness and success with the guests there.

Sherman hammers away at creating potential products and provide better innovative solutions to the public. The Group launched the Interactive White Board, Digital Signage and Digital Lock this year, which have been widely recognized and appreciated by bringing convenience to the society. Besides, Sherman introduced a new management practice within the Group through hiring more local people for each region.
